Ember & Ink Press accepts clients through an application process. This isn’t a gatekeeping exercise—it’s how we ensure that every author we work with gets the attention, care, and commitment their project deserves.
We work with authors whose projects align with our values. We do not accept work involving occult, New Age, or erotic content.

Book a Discovery Call
Your first conversation is free, low-pressure, and completely confidential. We’ll talk for 30 minutes about your project, your goals, your timeline, and your questions. There’s no pitch and no hard sell—just a genuine conversation about whether we’re the right fit.

Submit Your Application
After your discovery call, qualified applicants are invited to complete a short written application. This helps us understand your project in more depth and ensures we can serve you well.
Application Questions Include:
What is your book about? (Genre, topic, intended audience)
Where are you in the writing process?
What is your publishing goal — self-publishing or traditional?
Which service are you interested in?
Have you worked with a writing coach or editor before?
What does success look like for you and this book?

We review all applications personally and respond within 5 business days. If we’re a good match, we’ll send you a proposal and next steps. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll do our best to point you in a helpful direction.
