About the Founder
Meet Dona Watson
Dona Watson brings 40 years of professional writing and editing experience to every project at Ember & Ink Press. Her career has spanned medical technology publishing, corporate communications, nonprofit leadership, and creative writing—giving her a rare ability to work across genres and audiences.
As a ghostwriter, Dona has helped authors produce manuscripts that reached Amazon bestseller status in their categories. As an editor, she has shaped everything from market analysis reports to devotional books to science fiction novels. As an author, she has self-published five works of her own, including a 2024 Realm Award finalist.
Dona’s faith is the foundation of her work. She believes words carry weight—and that the right words, crafted with care, can change hearts and advance God’s kingdom in ways that outlast any single moment.
She lives and works in Gainesboro, Tennessee.
